More Trees Please at Better Homes & Gardens LIVE

Kids enjoy planting up their own bean seed to take home.

This year’s message of ‘More Trees Please’ was proudly on show at Sydney Better Homes & Gardens LIVE, 2012. The event welcomed 32,255 visitors over the 14-16th of September, an 11% increase on last years attendance.

This is the second year that Better Homes & Gardens LIVE have allocated us a 6x3m space to promote the Improve your Plant/Life Balance message through kid’s activities. This year we also incorporated The Lorax – ‘Guardian of the trees’ into our stand with Universal Sony Picture Home Entertainment sending us photo-murals of the Lorax character for kids to have their photo with as well as DVD’s. Children (and adults) who visited our stand planted bean seeds into Jiffy pots take home to further improve their Plant/Life Balance.

Thanks to Twigs and Takasho for supplying the tools and equipment required and also to Ambius for the loan of their brightly coloured planters and plants which looked great.

A super-advanced Magnolia on loan from Alpine Treemovals also took pride of place in the centre of the dome which formed the main information stand for the event and formed another great area to promote our ‘More Trees Please’ message.
