Expressions of interest are open for women within the horticulture sector to apply for leadership development scholarships.
The program aims to equip women with the skills and tools needed to accelerate their career and become leaders in horticulture.
Co-funded by the Hort Frontiers Leadership Fund and Women and Leadership Australia (WLA), this scholarship initiative encourages participation of women in a range of leadership courses.
Women can choose to apply to one of three different course streams. These are:
It is expected that the grants will be made available during mid-2021, and the scholarship will cover 83% of the program fee for the three available courses.
Founded in 2004, WLA has worked with over 60,000 participants globally to support gender equality.
Funding is available to women working in both levy and non-levy paying organisations, including wholesalers, distributers, research, and development bodies.
