New Fusarium factsheet available for growers

Growers can now access a new fusarium factsheet, ‘Fusarium: A formidable nursery pathogen’, developed by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) through the levy funded Resourcing, supporting, and assessing biosecurity in nursery production (NY20000) project.

The factsheet provides information to growers about the symptoms, detection and diagnosis, and disease management associated with the fusarium species.

This is the latest in a suite of factsheets developed under NY20000. Check out some of the latest resources below:

Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming resources from NY20000, including a Nursery Paper on snails and slugs, and factsheets on essential groups of pest mites (e.g., spider mites, erinose/rust mites and flat mites).

If you have any questions, please contact the project lead and DAF Principal Entomologist, Horticulture and Forestry Science, Andrew Manners, at: [email protected].

The ‘Resourcing, supporting, and assessing biosecurity in nursery production’ (NY20000) projects are funded by Hort Innovation using the nursery industry levy, funds from the Australian Government and Queensland Government.
