Smart Farming Workshops for growers

Are you interested in learning more about new environmentally friendly on-farm practices and technologies?

The levy funded ‘Digital remote monitoring to improve horticulture’s environmental performance’ (ST19024) project is conducting a series of Smart Farming workshops in each state over the next 12 months to present and discuss the technology installed at the Smart Production Nursery, Golden Grove at Torbanlea in Queensland.

The first workshop will be held in Victoria, giving nursery managers and staff an opportunity to learn how they may be able to implement new sustainable farming practices within their own businesses.

Greenlife Industry Australia’s (GIA) Smart Farming Project Officer, David Hunt, will lead the workshops, which will include presentations from GIA’s project partners, Applied Horticultural Research and Hitachi.
