Two new Minor Use Permit (MUP) applications have been approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the nursery industry.
Applications for these Minor Use Permits have been made through the levy-funded ‘National Biosecurity and Sustainable Plant Production Program’ (NY20001). The below MUPs PER90454 and PER90451 are now available.
Dimilin WP 250 Insect Growth Regulator (PER90454), plus other registered products containing 250g/kg DIFLUBENZURON, for the management of fungus gnats, shore flies, armyworm including fall armyworm, leafminer, looper, lepidopteran larvae, psyllids, weevil and whiteflies (suppression) on Nursery Stock (Non-Food) – Seedlings, Tubes and Plugs, Potted Colour, Trees and Shrubs, Foliage Plants, Palms and Grasses, and Fruiting Plants (Non-Bearing), Cut Flowers, Foliage and Ornamentals.
Octave WP Fungicide/Sportak Fungicide (PER90451), plus other registered products containing 462g/kg and 450 g/kg respectively PROCHLORAZ, for the management of Anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.) fungal pathogens on Nursery Stock (Non-Food) – Seedlings, Tubes and Plugs, Potted Colour, Trees and Shrubs, Foliage Plants, Palms and Grasses, and Fruiting Plants (Non-Bearing), Cut Flowers, Foliage and Ornamentals.
