UPDATE: New Minor Use Permits Available

Two new Minor Use Permits applications have been approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the nursery industry.
Through the ‘National Biosecurity and Sustainable Plant Production Program’ (NY20001), levy funds and additional contributions from the Australian Government were used to apply for the new Minor Use Permit (MUP). The below MUP numbered PER89239 and PER90147 are now available.
TEPPAN 50SL Insecticide (PER89239), plus other registered products containing 50g/L CYCLANILIPROLE, for the management of various insects including lepidoptera adults, larvae and hatched eggs, beetles, leafminer, psyllids, soft scales, weevils, and whiteflies, and the suppression of aphids, stink bug nymphs, thrips and mealybugs in Nursery stock (non-food) – seedlings (excluding vegetable and herb seedlings) tubes and plugs, potted colour, trees & shrubs, foliage plants, palms, grasses and fruiting plants (non-bearing), cut flowers and ornamentals.
ecocarb Fungicide (PER90147), plus other registered products containing 940g/kg POTASSIUM BICARBONATE, for the management of Powdery mildew in Nursery stock (non-food) – seedlings, tubes and plugs, potted colour, trees & shrubs, foliage plants, palms, grasses, and fruiting plants (non-bearing), cut flowers and ornamentals.
